The frenulum is a connective tissue attached to the back of the lip and the gingiva between the incisors. The treatment is short, painless and does not cause any major discomfort later on. The frenectomy is important because during the movements the lip pulls the frenulum and the gum with it, causing the collar and the incisors roots to show. In addition, it can also cause aesthetic defect in the form of diastema (space between teeth).

Hemisection and radicectomy
Hemisection and radicectomy are the latest resource for the treatment of teeth with multiple caries, where there is no suitable endodontic treatment of one of the roots, or one of the roots has inflammatory injuries that do not respond to conservative treatment. Radicectomy consists in cutting the entire diseased root, hemisection is the removal of half of the tooth together with one of the roots – the rest is reconstructed with a prosthetic crown.
Apicectomy
Apicectomy consists in cutting the tip of the root by simultaneously eliminating inflammatory injuries, protecting the root from recurrent inflammation. This treatment creates conditions for proper bone reconstruction at the site of the removed lesion. This process can be helped by using the material to stimulate bone reconstruction.
Teeth removal
Tooth removal consists in separating it from the bone and gum and removing it from the socket. In case of root teeth, preserved teeth and “octavi” wisdom teeth, surgery is required. All treatments are performed using a dental microscope with minimal invasiveness. Thanks to this, reduced invasiveness extending to microsurgery will allow rapid wound healing and bone preservation for a possible implant.
